I am thinking of building this project and would like to know if this tft can be used
it is on a shield for the Mega2560 and i think it is 16bit and the Driver is ILI9486.

Has anyone try like this and work ???

All graphics used PDQ GFX library https://github.com/XarkLabs/PDQ_GFX_Libs. It support only ILI9340, ILI9341, ST7735 and ST7781. So for ILI9486 you need create custom code
